Workshop · Just for fun · Meta Ray-Ban Display

BionicRace.

Head up. Turn your wrist.

A small racing game for Meta Ray-Ban Display. A cyberpunk coupé, somewhere between the new Tesla and a Porsche, races ahead of you on roads made of light, right in the real world. You steer with your wrist: the Neural Band measures how far you turn it. Flick your hand up and the car jumps over barriers. In 60 seconds every coin is a point and every barrier you jump is three. The top 3 by Sunday evening win.

Prototype · Free · No account, no tracking in the game

Contest · until Sun 25 Oct, 20:00

High Scores.

The top 3 each win a free code for Bionic Tap on the App Store or Google Play.

RANKNAMESCORE

    ●

    Rules
    1. Only rounds played on Meta Ray-Ban Display and steered with the Neural Band count. One entry per round; a coin is 1 point, jumping a barrier is 3.
    2. After submitting, the glasses show a ticket (e.g. K7Q-M92). Whoever is ranked 1 to 3 on Sun 25 Oct 2026 at 20:00 (Swiss time) emails their ticket to hello@hmz.swiss and receives a code for Bionic Tap – iOS or Android, your choice.
    3. We only store initials, score, time and ticket, deleted no later than 30 days after the end. We remove obviously manipulated entries. No cash alternative; the organiser’s decision is final.

    Try it here

Click into the picture, then Enter to start, ← → to steer and ↑ to jump. A short press changes lanes, holding steers smoothly.

    Put on. Turn. Jump.

    01

    Put on

On the glasses’ display, black is see-through. The road sits as lines on top of your surroundings, with no filled areas blocking your view.

    02

    Turn

Hand flat, back of the hand up: the car drives in the centre. Turn your wrist and it moves there – 90° means the edge of the track. A pinch while driving resets the centre.

    03

    Jump

Flick your hand up and the car flies over the barrier, grabbing the coins in the arc. Hit it and you lose speed. A round lasts 60 seconds, and your best score stays on the glasses.

    Open in Meta AI →

Without the code: in the Meta AI app, open your Display glasses settings, go to App connections › Web apps, add a web app named “BionicRace” with the address https://www.hmz.swiss/bionicrace/

      Developer mode

In the Meta AI app, go to Settings › App info, tap the version number five times and confirm. You need glasses software v125 or later and the Meta AI app v272 or later.

    2. 02

      Scan the code

Scan the code above with the phone that runs the Meta AI app. It opens and adds BionicRace to your glasses. Already on your phone? Tap “Open in Meta AI”.

    3. 03

      Drive

Start BionicRace on the glasses, confirm the installation (it is labelled “unverified”) and allow sensor access. Without a Neural Band you steer by swiping and jump by swiping up.

    Neural Band · recommended

Steering uses the roll of your wrist, measured against gravity – your hand angle is your position on the track, 90° is the edge. To jump, raise your hand quickly by 20° or more; a slow raise or a strong twist doesn’t count. If left and right are swapped, choose “Steering: inverted” in the menu.
